About the event
Good facilitation during workshops, retreats, and meetings makes a profound difference when working with challenging people, situations, or groups. Come learn more about how to set the table for a welcoming group with clear roles and boundaries, as well as how to make necessary adjustments—especially in confusing or trying situations. We’ll explore the role of ground rules or agreements, how to orchestrate inclusive groups with a balance of participation, and ways to work with individuals who are triggered or triggering to others. Between them, Joy and Caryn have more than 50 years of facilitation experience in poetry therapy and related fields, and will share many hard-won and tried-and-true lessons. They will also share about their annual 9-week intensive “Art of Facilitation” training to be held from October 3 to December 12, 2024. Register here.
